A few quick updates for this week: Friday, September 1st is our first BIKE TO SCHOOL event of the school year! Please look in your student's Thursday folder for times and locations! Also on Friday, September 1st, we will be having a dress down day to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. One of our middle school teachers, Rosemary Kelley worked at a school in Houston, Casa de Esperanza de Los Ninos and they have been severely affected by the storm. Students need to bring in $1 to participate and the donation will go directly to that school. There will also be a flyer with more information in your student's Thursday folder. Best wishes! As we step foot into November, our students are going to be completing a "30 Day Kindness Challenge"! Attached you will find pictures of our bulletin board with all of the acts of kindness we hope to complete by the end of the month. While some acts can be completed here at school or at home, independently, some acts may require an adult's assistance. Not all students need to complete all of the acts listed on the board, but if you are able, we would love to have your support in spreading kindness through the entire community! If possible, just send a short note with your student with what act you've completed and we can check it off on our calendar! Thank you so much for your help in helping us Reach OUT to those around us! If you have any questions, please let us know!
